In my country (Netherlands), this issue is being downplayed by any means possible, both by the company itself, and by government officials.
The story supposedly is, that yes, some organisation did hack into their system, but.., they did NOT gain full access to all of the data, and they only managed to get those keys which make communication through the outdated 2G network vonurable.
And since the 2G network is hardly used anymore anyway, there's no real problem, and everyone is safe and secure and there is no need to switch your SIM card.
So move along folks.
