I do:
Puppy Setup ->Mouse/Keyboard -> Touchpad->Touchpad mode OFF
Save,Quit
This setting does not survive reboot for some reason.
I have to repeat the exercise after each reboot.
Save file exists, and is loaded on startup, other settings are preserved.
Thank you.
P.S.
Ideally, I would like mouse pad to turn off automatically when external mouse is connected. I could not find a setting for that.
Appreciate if somebody points it out.
If that is not possible, I can live with touchpad off always, if this setting sticks.

After doing your settings those settings should be stored to a file.
Probably it is named after the programs name: flsynclient.
Search for flsynclient using pfind. Search the system files for it.
If you'd found it, attache the file to your next post, so I can have a look into it.
To do this just add .gz to its name, so it looks like a zippped file that can be attached to the forum.

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees! :wink:
