You could try a slackware tgz file, extract the file to a temp directory and a look through the structure of where it all goes and copy it, tho I can't say anything about required libs and such, remember Puppy has been a lightweight distro and hasn't tried to be all things to all people.Once that happens it gets big and loses it's Puppiness and becomes "Just Another Distro".
Alot of us have found out how to do stuff by reading searching and experimenting.

ok I'll put on my nice hat and if you wait a few hours or day I'll try constructing a dotpup from slackware sources....

Would like Apache with that ? (no I'm not being smart)

BTW if you look thru the dotpup \ software forum I started a thread along the lines of My First DotPup....The package is a streaming mp3 server but also has cgipython compiled from Python 1.5.2...just thought that may or may not be of interest

This questing has been answerd before , as far I know .
Look at http://www.apachefriends.org/en/ . You can download it .
On the old forum I put (a long time ago) the changes you have to make if you running ashell because LAMPP has a bshell script .
