Well, what's it doing there? :)
Put a copy on your site and
save the user a trip to the ibiblio slow-poke.

The purpose of the site to to consolidate information and links to anything that is puppy 412 and similar related.
Where those links point to is partitally irrelevant and the dropbox account is for that which is not found elsewhere mainly due to limited space.
In other words it's to provide a better arrangement than using a forum for puppy 4.12 information and source links.

So for example while ibiblio continue to host the devx we would simply add a link pointing to it.

The expression work in progress comes to mind so expect more under the hood rearrangements. The devx is on the todo list now.

Ah! But have you heard the cuckoo? Heard it first start calling Friday 24th, 05.20 AM, deep in the backwoods of banjo-plucking Gloucestershire!

Hi Mikeb and Dave64,

Thank you for the wonderful work you guys are continuing on 4.12.

I enjoyed the time I worked to contribute and I'm glad Tuxtoo's legacy continues.

I'm especially glad you have taken on the role Mike because of your common sense approach to computing and finding solutions. I for one have learned much from you and want to say thanks for the wisdom imparted.

I have personally decided to move on from Puppy and am mostly using LinuxBBQ now plus a few other distros I have been exploring anyway goodluck to you Mikeb and Dave64, the site looks great and happy trails Tuxtoo and the Puppy Community. :D

Medion p7624 born 2012 : Puppy 431's refuse to install

#23 Post by Pelo »

Something strange : why does puppy 412 and 421 install on my laptop Medion p7624 born 2012 when Puppy 431's refuse too ?
I will try to retrofit the kernels and advise about failure or not.

Pelo, why on Earth are you using a relic of a Pup, when your laptop is so new? New Pups for new computers, OK?
