Hello
Should I be worried about AI? Who me? No way. I'll be dead by 2029 when one sage predicts robots will be smarter than humans.
But should society be concerned? Elon Musk of Telsa and Stephen Hawking think so.
Read this article and don't miss the video at the end.

There are several indicators about what we need eyes opened as we progress into our future.

Hint: Look at Man's progression coming out of Egypt. Also, the paramids may be a sign to understand what we need to be doing.

AI in bridging of human understanding with capability of technology.

Taking the behavior of today into tomorrow with the directions that is placed upon us does have cause for concern ... and hope that something intercepts to correct the prisms that we see the world thru, today.

All of us MUST gain greater understanding and develop the growth in technology to improve mankind interactions with each other: A trait which is currently lacking base upon current indoctrinations.

Subject description: Concerned about AI

Saw a very good TED talk via Youtube but cannot remember the speaker. Do a search there. Not all gloom and doom, but very concerned that machines could choose efficiency over other important factors. There is certainly a corollary between this and GE foods and life forms that corporations want to patent and bring into widespread use without sufficient impact studies.

Electronic spell-checkers are ancient news though not as old as the paramids. Even my browser, SeaMonkey, has a spell-checker.

If the pyramids help any Forum member(s) with any computing question, that's fine, but kindly respond using a hieroglyphic text.

@Jasper: Are you suggesting that "ideas people" should be judged on their grammar and spelling? Should their creativity and lateral thinking skills not be good enough? Wink

Doctor Who fans: remember the Cybermen?

That is how I picture A.I. being.
