where's the desktop folder?

I'm not at my puppy machine so I can;t check for it right now, but where it the "desktop" folder?
The reason asked is that I want to add the "Trash for Ice" to my icewm Unleashsed and I'm not sure how you put an icon somewhere on the desktop programatically (i.e. not by drag and drop)
