Steam on Fatdog64 701?

#1 Post by PurpleMarble »

Hi, a while back i installed Fatdog64 on my main rig and I love it. Only issue is i can't seem to install Steam I assumed I could install Zenity from SlackBuilds.org since Fatdog64 uses .TXZ packages. I installed all the dependencies and it failed to install everytime. So I created a symlink to Yad in /usr/bin and called it Zenity. Then I installed steam.
Ran Steam in the Terminal and said I was missing Zenity.

Any ideas on how to get steam running on Fatdog64?

EDIT: Removed steam completely and converted this pet package:

Ran it and got this

Code: Select all

SyntaxError: EOF while scanning triple-quoted string literal
Running Steam on Linux 3.18.7 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Error: You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run:
libc.so.6
I thought Fatdog shipped with multilib. Any ideas?

Download the 32bit slacko sfs and load it. This should give you all the required files.
