Hello. My HP box wont boot. Initially, it booted fine (maby the first 2 times) and then is began having kernel panic problems (i.e. ram full, etc.) so i would have to try to boot about 4 times (boot, problem, cut power, boot, diffrent problem, cut power, so on so forth) before it finally would quit ...

Ok, so this is a common problem by all indicators... Puppy, 5.2.8, 2 gigs Ram, I have sound icon on my "taskbar", when ALSA is run, it detecs these: hda-intel (i think this is the one installed) legacy-probe usb-audio aoa I select hda-intel, ok, ok, try to play sound, and a window comes up...

i need to know how to configure GRUB on my puppy distro. I open it up, select simple option, standard buffer console, then it asks me where i want the GRUB files to go. Where should i put these???
