Will these PETS install Python itself on Racy 5.3, or are they support files for Python that is already installed? If so, is there a Python PET too?
Thanks,
laserdood

Seg Fault during Printer Driver Installation
I am trying to install my older printer using the full version of hplip-3.12.6 , downloaded from HP's Linux Open Source Printing repository - because I know this library has my driver in it, my printer was listed when installed on my other Slacko Puppy distro and the printer is working in my Slacko....

pup_save.sfs
I don't know, that was kind of what I was asking you guys. Does the OS encapsulate the .SFS and save it to the settings save file, or does it just save a pointer to the programs but they actually exist outside of the save file? I have no idea, I'm still reading to try and find out. I suspect based o...

thanks
Thanks - I was just curious because I started mine at 512k and then I started adding dozens of PETS and SFS files so I resized it to 1 GB, then 2Gb, now 2.5Gb - but now during sessions when it saves the pup_save.sfs from RAM in the background, whatever I'm working on sort of suspends until the whole...

Pup Save File?
what really goes into pup_save.2fs files, is it just a few settings, or pointers to programs to load on boot, or is it really saving the whole applications kinda like OLE object type variables would do in VB? In other words...does it need to be 3 Gb large, or small is fine like 512k? Thanks, Laserdo...

DHCPD won't work without forgotten root password
I apologize for asking what has probably been asked 1000 times but I can't find it in the posts. I'm very new to Linux but I want to learn it so I adopted my first Puppy distro, Lucid Puppy 5.3.3 I installed it to my flash drive, everything worked, eth0 interface worked and I could connect to networ...
