@Flash Thanks.

Erm... sorry guys... It seems that my mic was defective, not my computer or recording software.
I tried a spare mic and it worked, although with static.
My bad. :oops:

Tried mic boost -> A bit louder. Can hear my voice when I talk loudly. Making progress. :)
Line in jack -> Not much difference. :|
amixer -> I know this is off topic, but how do you copy paste from rxvt?

Microphone amplification (SOLVED)

My microphone records, and it works, but the sound is soooo soft. :( Looking for a way to increase mic capture volume.

Any way I could do that?

Thanks!

Sorry, I was busy for quite a while. Your answers are very helpful! (Although I have tried BrowserLinux and Wary.) I didn't know there was the ability to remove builtin packages, so I'll try that out. :D

Reply (Dual Boot)

Dual booting is simply two operating systems on computer. Doesn't have to be two operating systems at the same time, and it doesn't have to be on the same partition.

(SOLVED) Pupplet without all the additional software?

I've been using Puppy Linux since 2007 / 2008. Loved it, customized it to suit my needs, but I couldn't join the forums (I was nine years old). I am now thirteen, so I have joined the forums. I'm looking at Puppy now, and I like it. However, I have took the new Precise Puppy 5.4 for a test drive, li...
