Nice headgear

That hound looks to me like it's wearing ... a Fedora. A Prominent North American Enterprise Linux Vendor might be interested in that hat. Well, at least it's not red.

I currently have winxp on a machine and want to completely get rid of itand use puppy. http://www.goosee.com/puppy/wikka/HardDiskInstall If it were me, I'd boot and nuke the drive, then party all night and celebrate my good decision and commitment to freedom. You love XP as much as the rest of us.....

1.Opera.
2.Firefox - because you can assign your own home page, then have the tabs auto-open to that page.

Mechsus, I edited (formatting) the page this am, but there is a little bit yet to go. Me too. I was up for quite a few hours too. I thought there were too many colours so I toned it down and added emphasis (bold) where appropriate. I was thinking of adding another How-To below, that shows how to in...

How do I Disown the Wikka HD Install page?

When I was editing it yesterday, I clicked on 'Own this page', to see what it was, and now I own it.

Apologies to Red Hat : The blame for the problem I had with RH 9, is with the Dummies publisher. On p.40 the Windows Confidential advice seems pretty bizzare as by following their suggestion, I couldn't get into windows. I took rarsa's tip, and loaded GRUB to the MBR (like you do with Puppy) and go...

Puppy as a Linux model

The other day, I thought I'd give yet another Linux distro a go on a spare computer (Athlon 2Ghz, 120Mb HD, 512 MB RAM). I wiped the HD, installed Tindows XP to an 8GB partition, and left a nice big free space for a Linux distro - in this case, Red Hat 9. I happened to have a " Red Hat Linux 9 ...

How do you do that? Does the Wikka need special privileges to access the data?

There's a couple of points I forgot to include - and remembered on a later Puppy install.
