Ad-blocking etc..

Just use Vivaldi.. surely?
Go through options/setup and check/uncheck the obvious...

then..

Add following extensions:
- i don't care about cookies
- Nano Adblocker
- Nano Defender
- Disable HTML5 Autoplay (Reloaded)

QuickPet - Vivaldi - Menu entry

New install of Xenial...
Downloaded Vivaldi via QuickPet...
Only found it (file>hidden files>opt) and got it running due to considerable help from e-chat..

Why no menu entry?... would have expected downloads from QuickPet to be 100% hassle-free...

Is this an oversight or a no-can-do?

Usually the mods will just move the thread rather than deleting. The information may still be helpful to you and to others. Vivaldi is a nice browser and does work ( or can be made to work ) in Puppy. - Uhoh... I'm not up to anything complicated.. lol It is a Chromium derivative and the latest vers...

Pup_Slack_6.3.2 - fresh install to HDD. No other o/s present. Have used the provided Firefox browser to download preferred Vivaldi (32bit Deb version) No sign of it.. so download again.... further attempts get advice box stating 'already present'.. VII) Go into Disks, click on the drive, and tell Windows to format it to Fat32 or NTFS. It's not there... :-/ This is what I don't understand... works fine in Puppy, used to work fine in Windows until few days ago when I used it to re-start my migration to Linux.
