What causes cursor to change shape as ROX kicks in on boot?

#1 Post by musher0 »

Hi.

As the title says. I mention ROX, but it could as well be something in the
"quick config" panel, or something called by the "quick config" panel.or a
dependency generally.

This huge bug occurs on the prototype of DPupBuster. Pls see here.
(Edit in the evening: Thanks to the forum who caught that typo.)

I initiated a distinct thread with this question because it may be a problem
in itself, not necessarily linked to the BusterPup. I can't find it now, but a
member back in 2011 mentioned freezing as he got to desktop. He
thought it was his radeon card causing it. But I changed my radeon card
to a nvidia card and the problem remained.

TIA for any insights.

If I remember correctly, there are packagesets with all the various cursors themes, and /usr/sbin/pcur sets them up, I just don't remember how, sorry.
