Puppy Can Input Chinese Character

What is fcitx? I'd like to be able to enter Chinese characters as shown on your screenshot - I can do exactly that in WinXP: what must I do to do it in Puppy? (I'm learning Mandarin - simplified characters).

fcitx is an XIM(X input method),like scim.
