The BlueParadise.pet is on my Macpup page. The actual theme's background is blank, I made a separate backgroud.edj file that has the "Macpup" on it. It is also in the .pet you can use it under settings, wallpaper.
This theme is also based on Verdegal37's work.

You just gotta love those unsolicited endorsements ... especially in the forum of another distro! Well done, runtt21 and prit.runtt21 wrote:http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 61&start=0

Patriot has posted the packages for Alsa 1.0.22.1. .Macpup Foxy 3.0 uses the 2.6.30.5 kernel . If you DONT have a AAO computer and sound is ok for you , you dont need it.

What tips can you give me on the "file" manager? I like the look of it but I can't seem to find anywhere I can set it to open a file in the same window. Also, the "remember" function seems overly complicated, but that could just be me.
Overall I really like Foxy. I installed the Black2 theme so I'd like to use the "file" system to view my files as the Rox system isn't compatible with my look.
One more thing. The battery script doesn't work for me. When I click the icon I just get "no such directory"
How can I fix it? I didn't change anything so it's an original issue.
Thanks.

Th e17 file manages bites. I just used it in the shot for something different.Stick with rox it is on the ibar by default. To change rox's look get a new gtk2 theme but be careful some of the gtk2 stuff can cause thing to stop working in puppy. You could also take the theme apart and put the icons into rox. Doing that is covered in the thread for Macpup Opera061.I like the theme that matched the default e17 b/w theme, it is posted earlier in this thread.
If you are booting with acpi off the battery script wont work. Switch into jwm and see if it shows on the task bar.

I have been playing with technosaurus's build of Midori :

It works good for me in Fox3 .I havent had the issues the other have had,it hasn't seg-faulted at all yet. ( Seg-fault is my biggest enemy it seems)And I have flash 10 working with it. The main issue I had was with adding sites to the speed dial. I need to enter the url twice for each site. But other than that its ok.I dont see it as a replacement for Firefox or Opera at this time.
I did go ahead and make an animated icon for it. Just unpack the tar.gz and move the midori.edj to the icon folder . It has the midori icon with a spinning globe behind it.
