This announcement is a request for our understanding and for future cards and letters from those of us who understand to try to get our legislators (law-making bodies of government) to understand needs that translates to citizen protections at the individual level.

Here is an editorial which tries to help us understand the Security platform that was under consideration and what happened to it. The column directly relates to understanding steps which can be taken to improve overall security.

What we should try to envision, is why would something potentially useful to citizen protections be shot down.

And, what we should be watchful for in the future which could have a positive or negative consequence in our use of the Internet. Sometimes our correspondence to law-makers can have a positive impact on useful things for us.
