The original source link was deleted because of copyright infringement. To avoid copyright issues, other software usually includes a setup to use equivalent free fonts instead. I've tested the latest LibreOffice versions and font equivalence seems to work decently.Puppus Dogfellow wrote:i've been using mswebfonts_525.pet to get ms fonts on puppy since slacko 5.3.3 or so. i'm having trouble tracking down the original source...
can't help you with the calc question, but the emoticon deal may be an autocorrect issue. i don't have the problem, but i remember needing to go into tools > autocorrect to be able to type three consecutive asterisks without LO turning it into a solid line.totolanio wrote:Using 4.3.2 I got some huge harassing bugs.
For example, I have got the same exact problem as this one :
http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/ ... opping-up/
It happens when I copy pasted numbers from internet, so I had to rewrite them all by myself.
Also there is another thing very annoying, if I want to write ":D" or ":P" in text (for example lol), it automatically transforms itself in "haha:P", "haha:D" you see ?
Do you have some solutions ? I'm using lxpup (puptahr) with french language pack and the libreoffice interface is in english.
PS : I'm going to use the 4.4 version
Posted to the first page. Thanks.Puppus Dogfellow wrote:LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.pet(213M) and LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.sfs (176M)
Short test... both .pet and .sfs appear to work perfectly in Precise 5.7.1.Puppus Dogfellow wrote:LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.pet(213M) and LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.sfs (176M)
No problem, Bob. Glad to help.Moat wrote:Short test... both .pet and .sfs appear to work perfectly in Precise 5.7.1.Puppus Dogfellow wrote:LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.pet(213M) and LibreOffice-4.4.1_en-US_xz.sfs (176M)
Thanks for keeping these great packages up-to-date. Much appreciated!

No, I didn't. Get-libreoffice 0.30 worked as usual. I did have a small problem booting from CD in another machine, though: even if the computer had 4 GB of RAM, there was a message saying the application can't work in low RAM. A frugal install to a hard drive is required, that's why I can get LibreOffice from my computer even if my RAM is just 512 MB.Puppus Dogfellow wrote:libreoffice_4.4.3_en_es_xz.sfs plus a (libreoffice_4.4.3_en_es_xz.) pet made from it mirrored.
vic, did you need to alter the the get-libre script? i can no longer get it to work...
Code: Select all
touch /usr/share/applications/a.txt &
rm /usr/share/applications/a.txt
looks like the .desktop files ended up in /usr/local/share/applications/ instead of /usr/share/applications/. symlinking or copying them and then running fixmenus is probably the easiest way to get the menu entries to show.vicmz wrote: About the menu entries, typing fixmenus in a terminal window should do, or at least it does for Openbox. If they won't appear in the JWM menu, adding a category that exists in the JWM menu file to the .desktop files at /opt/libreoffice4.4/share/xdg could be a simple solution (to be applied in the LibreOffice packages).
