Is 4.3.1JP-2012 multi-CPU-core aware? (Or the original 4.3.1JP, for that matter... )

They (orginal 431, 431JP, 431JP2012) are all SMP enabled. But it can be disabled with 'nosmp' kernel(boot) option.
Some problem?

I'm using what supposedly is a dual-core system for Puppy, now (this one), but I'm not sure whether or not my 4.3.1JP setup is using both cores. I think I was experimenting with the Frequency Scaling Tool for no real reason, and it only seemed to see one core, for example.

Getting rid of the rox pinboard in 431JP2012 is getting the best of me.
Commented out anything with the pinboad in .xinitrc file and it still pops back?
Tried "sleep 16 && rox -p= & " in the startup folder as well and it still comes back.
