Hallo allerseits,
ich muss nach jedem Neustart die Netzwerkkarte neu einstellen, obwohl der Wizard so tut, als wuerde dies fest eingestellt Confused
Das war bei MeanPuppy nicht so.
Kann mir jemand sagen, WO ich das eintragen kann?
Puppy und speziell Muppy sind sowas von Spitze. Bin schwer beeindruckt von Geschwindigkeit und Flexibilitaet dieses genialen Systems.
Ein riesiges DANKESCHOEN an die Entwickler meinerseits.
Und ich habe einige Linuxe aussprobiert Rolling Eyes
Schoene Weihnachten euch allen!!
Dieses Forum ist auch einfach toll.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, eventuell ist hier aber ein Feature ein Bug.

In

/etc/rc.d/rc.muppy2
findest Du diese Zeilen:

rm -f /etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd-*.pid
dhcpcd 2>/dev/null 1>/dev/null &


Sie weisen Muppy an, eine dynamische IP zu beziehen.
Eventuell funkt das dazwischen.

Ändere es probehalber wie folgt:

#rm -f /etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd-*.pid
#dhcpcd 2>/dev/null 1>/dev/null &


Dann neustarten, Karte einstellen, und wieder neustarten.
Wurden die Einstellungen nun übernommen?

DANKE Mark. Das war es. Nach deiner Aenderung und Neustart zeigt mir

an, dass die Karte die Werte behalten hat. So ist gut.

ok, dann muß ich Muppy so ändern, daß nur beim booten ohne pup_save.3fs dhcp verwendet wird.

Also nur dann versucht wird, sich ins Netzwerk einzuklinken, wenn man keine eigenen Einstellungen erzeugt hat.
