Hi guys,
First: Sorry for my bad English, im from the Netherlands.
So, i need a black, or transparent theme for puppy. I want the whole desktop black with just white text and some icons. Im just bad at Linux, but i managed to install it and it works.
So, where can i find it and how to install it?
How to have black Puppy theme?
Re: How to have black Puppy theme?
This one should be nice and easy. Right click on any icon, choose Rox-Filer>Options>Pinboard and change the background to black and the text to white. Then remove the file root>Choices>ROX-background.jpg, which is the current image being displayed, then restart ROX (reboot).BlackWhizz wrote:So, i need a black, or transparent theme for puppy. That should do it (I hope).

re: How to have a black Puppy theme
The easiest way I have found is to delete or comment out the
<backdrop.../>
line in /usr/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin, but note that it is automatically reconstituted if you subsequently select a wallpaper using the wallpaper setter.
Then open ROX-Filer and go to options-->pinboard. There you can set the foreground/background/shadow colors and text you want.
Another way you can do it is to create a solid color picture in gimp and save it to /usr/share/backgrounds. It then becomes available to the wallpaper setter. The advantage of this method is that by using scale/center/stretch... you can make it cover all or part of the screen only.

I think what's wanted is something like shown in the picture below?
