Subject description: wish list

Have tried downloading gnu-chess from links found elsewhere in this forum and I am getting a checksum error when I try to install.

Can anyone send me the current link?

I have chess working just find with e-board in 2.17 on another computer, but on my main desktop it'd be nice to have a chess engine or two.

In Debian I have 8 different chess engines and they all happily installed with no intervention on my part. I don't know enough about converting other engines to run in the current version of Puppy, I will someday...but in the meantime I would've thought somebody'd done it already.

Thanks!

imnotrich,

If you want to try crafty & sjeng-free engines, they're available here. You just need to extract the archive to /.
