Does your laptop have the hi-def outputs?
What finally got it working?
Would you please edit your initial post subject as solved?

Just change the subject line to whatever it was and add SOLVED at the end. But before you do could you tell me what you did exactly to get TV out working??? I've got an old AIT Rage based Laptop that has composite out (Connector) but doesn't seem to see that.
Can you dump your xorg.conf file??? I would really be curious if you have a listing for a dual head machine and if the second head has to spec out ntsc type specs etc for this to work. Any ideas are VERY welcome.
