laptop multimedia keys package (not sven)

#1 Post by newest_newbie »

I think there's a package from the developer of the deadbeef media player that has "laptop" in its name and that, among other things, does the right thing with laptop multimedia keys.

I wouldn't have started this post if I hadn't spent more than an hour looking for it with no success. The search function on this forum returns pages that don't contain what I searched for, even when I search for a single word. :(

I tried sven but it does nothing with my multimedia keys (dell inspiron 6400 laptop) so I would like to install the package I mentioned instead, but I can't find it. Maybe it's for Ubuntu, but even so, it should work with Lucid Puppy 5.2.5, which is what I frugal installed via the Lin'n'Win instructions.

TNX.

The earlier versions in other searches are .pup, not .pet
