I own a packard bell dot s laptop wiht atom 3600 and gma 3600 graphics.
I am trying to boot puppy 5.4.2 from the usb and afte loading the nessesarry , instead of showing the desktop I get a blank screen.
I tried some boot options but nothing chages.
ANy help?

What happens when you press Ctrl-Alt-Backspace? You may get a screen that looks like a terminal. Then, type "xorgwizard" without the quotation marks at the #prompt, selected the appropriate screen resolution. Then, type "xwin" without quotations at the # prompt.

It is happening with a few systems and very recent Pups.
Read through the link and its following posts:

You could try some of the fix suggestions or wait for more analyses of the problem(s) for a certain fix.
Older Pups are worth trying if you want something running on your computer more quickly.

Nothing..the computer just freezes.
I have tried all the suggested solutions
This also happens in debian testing, ubuntu, lubuntu newset slackware.
I am sure it has to do with GMA 3600 intel and specific kernels.
How I can disable all modules during boot?
puppy nomodeset ?
