I just saw that Kontact misses this lib in Puppy 3.01

libgpgme.so.11

Want to check mail in kmail... but pop.gmx.net account does not work..

Pop account is set to plain authentication without encryption, but returns this error:

"
Authentifizierung fehlgeschlagen, An error occured during authentication: SASL(-4): no mechanism available: No worthy mechs found wird nicht unterstützt
"

Wot does this mean ???

I know you're busy so I'll be brief with this comment that has nothing to do with the thread (my apologies about that too):

I really appreciate you posting the link under your name in the signature file my friend! I clicked on it and found so many great things there that I've bookmarked the page for future reference.

In my free moments, I continue to look for missing libraries.
I have found already some, also in Kontact, but a different one.
The latest on Sunday, I will upload another version of the missing libs.
This upload will contain also those I gave before, in this way the file will also be a complete one.
The reason for Sunday is, that I will be away for some 5 weeks and I don't know if I will have a good (ADSL) connection.

Another suggestion/request.
Lost & found contains a long list of the alpha 6 installed programs, just sorted alphabetically.
It would be nice if the original alpha 6 menu structure is maintained.
Don't know if it's doable.

setkdemenu and setkdemenu kde do work in dino after I realized I had to restart X Embarassed

But it doesn't effect the long list of the old puppy menu structure.
I would be nice to have that old puppy menu|sub menu structure in lost&found

hm, in my system here I have only very few apps in lost&found.

Maybe that is due to my work on mime-types.
I ran "update-mime-database /usr/share/mime" after I imported Puppys programs to the mime-system.

Maybe this affected KDE.
I will run some tests with a fresh save-file in the next days, when I finished the "set as default" feature for my mime-editor.
I think we can not go around "real" mime-handling in Puppy.

The simplified one of rox is good as such, but incompatible with the rest of the world.
For this reason I work on that mime-editor with converter - tool.
When I finished, it hopefully should be no problem to clean up the KDE-menu by running a simple script.
