OpenboxPlus 1.6.2, OBP Wheezy 1.2, OBP Tahrpup 1.1
The programmer who put together the choosepanel.sh script
was a beginner at gtkdialog --> he made blank lines with a dot.
I made a few changes, just in appearance.

To vicmz...
I noticed that the gtkdialog window is 601 dots height. Some people
with miniature netbooks complain that they can't see the bottom of
gtkdialog windows.
Like the EEEPC ---> only VGA resolution.
That is why I try to eliminate blank lines.
The newer ones are over 700 dots, but the first generation
were smaller.

Go on, nice work !
There is a bug !
My doc abiword source is empty....
To keep profit af the failure, google translation in seamonkey is not so bad. But i did the translation for myself, and decided to share it with you.
Everything is gone away ! damned !
I dont do the job again. Sorry.
PS : try an old pfind (pfind 4-21). Works in Wolx.

The GTK themes change sizes a little bit. For example the Take a Shot! GUI expands with some themes. I have no experience for GUI design, so anyone who can fix it is welcome to do so.don570 wrote:To vicmz...

Version for Dpup Wheezy
Smithy reported that most Openbox packages available for Puppy won't work in Dpup Wheezy, including OpenboxPlus. So I made a special version, see the first post. Note that Obconf doesn't work but there's Lxappearance to change Openbox themes, and it also works for GTK and cursor themes. Also, fixing menus doesn't fix Openbox right-click menu. Any feedback and fixes are appreciated.

Re: OpenboxPlus 1.6.1, OpenboxPlus Wheezy 1.1
I wish, it's as though there were no support for Openbox menu in Wheezy at all. All other Puppies are able to fix Openbox menu, I even compared them with Wheezy and there's no difference, so I'm sorry to say I haven't got a clue. The list of known bugs does warn this, and it's still valid for the latest Dpup Wheezy.Schpankme wrote:Is there away to correct the 'menu' for my Wheezy Build?vicmz wrote: ... The list of known bugs also warns that Obconf doesn't work, this is because libxcb-util is missing, you can install the attached pet to get it to work.
EDIT: pet now integrated to OpenboxPlus Wheezy 1.2

ZonColor theme collection added to first page. Or click here to download:
http://yadi.sk/d/XOnXFh-EH3Lve
Note: The main gtk_theme_collection.pet from the first page contains gtk engines required for some of the ZonColor, Crunchy and Ambiance-Radiance themes. Or you can install the engines separately from the PPM in modern puppies.
See also the ZonColor website:

OpenboxPlus Wheezy 1.2 available on the first page
I finally managed to solve the fixmenus issue for OpenboxPlus Wheezy. Now fixmenus recognizes the Openbox right-click menu. Lxappearance and its dependencies have been removed. The package includes libxcb-util0 so there's no need to install it separately for Obconf to work.

OpenboxPlus 1.6.2
OpenboxPlus 1.6.2
- Changed theme
- Fixed icons not displaying in Lxpanel menu in Slacko 5.7
- ChoosePanel GUI polished by don570
- Wallpaper Setter 0.6.4
- Take a Shot! screen capture 1.6
- Tint2 panel themes by Tman
- Keyboard shortcuts expanded: CTRL+ALT+W=default word processor, CTRL+ALT+B=default browser, CTRL+ALT+A=default audio player, CTRL+ALT+V=default media player, CTRL+ALT+E=default text editor, CTRL+ALT+P=default paint, CTRL+ALT+K=default spreadsheet editor, CTRL+ALT+M=default email client, CTRL+ALT+S=Take a Shot! screen capture
Slacko 5.7 tray applets do not start automatically, you can put the autostart script attached to the first post at /root/Startup to solve this, but note that switching back to JWM applets in the tray will appear duplicated.

Right-click the panel, select Panel Settings and check the Panel Applets tab, maybe the Spacers are set too long. Or maybe you have too many tray applets/app launchers for your screen width, this should not be a problem if you have an HD-sized screen though.
You can also try this:
- Right-click lxpanel in the middle and select Taskbar (Window List) Settings.
- Tick or untick the Icons Only option and see what happens.
- If this does not work, click Menu > Setup > Choose Panel to reinstall Lxpanel.
Remember that the size of window buttons in the panel depends on how many windows you have opened and how wide is your screen. In a 1024x768 screen resolution, many windows opened at a time will automatically cause to compact window buttons accordingly. Tooltips are always present to display the title of the windows unless disabled manually.

Thanks Vic, that did the trick
For bonus points you could tell me how to configure tint so that maximised windows don't cover the task bar (or whatever I was using a taskbar) but only if you know from the top of your head, I'm sticking with LXpanel for now anyway so I don't want to inconvenience you. Thanks again.

Right now I don't know about Tint2, but Openbox Window Manager Config (see Desktop menu) does have an option to set desktop margins. By default, Openbox desktop margins are set to 2 pixels, enough to right-click in any corner and see the Openbox menu. Try setting the top or bottom margin to the height of Tint2 panel.redandwhitestripes wrote:Thanks Vic, that did the trick
