For what it's worth, in the past John has replied to my emails but it has been years ago.
I have already joined the new forum so I just hope we can keep all the mostly valuable information intact. No real ideas of how to contact John though.

I'm posting this from Puppy Fire Hydrant Inferno, which I believe was one of Puppyluvr's creations and dates from about 2008. It was based on Puppy 3 series (3.01 in particular). Obviously the software's old by today's standards but it all still works as far as I can see. Playing videos in Youtube ...

Re: Suggestions for a Puppy for my ancient PC
Which current version of Puppy would be good for an old computer (specs in my sig file)? The main reason I need a newer Puppy is that I can't upgrade my browsers to access sites like USPS.com or PayPal.com. Otherwise, my old Puppy works just fine for my needs. My concern is that newer versions of P...

I figured it was about time for another of these pointless threads. There is and has been a sub-forum for official releases for years located http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/index.php?f=42
The section was started way way back with 4.2 Deep Thought but for some reason people quit using it.

I'm running the latest Bionic Beaver 18.05A as a multi-session DVD. How? I know there must be a script or something that makes it work, but I never bothered to find out if it could be ported to versions of Puppy that didn't come with it. Is there a .pet that adds it? Didn't do anything out of the o...

I'm running the latest Bionic Beaver 18.05A as a multi-session DVD. In my case the size doesn't matter because I've got plenty of ram and some swap.
